Is there any way to get windows update for my desktop? The windows vista 64 will not communicate with google. I didn't use it for a long time for internet. Now we have high speed fiber optic. The computer worked for a little while but now it won't. Thanks for any help.

Hello, @Gradymauk – Hope you are well 🙂
Thanks for your continued participation on the HP Forums! I would like to help you with the windows update issue 🙂
I see that you are having issues while updating the drivers on your Compaq Presario. I would suggest you try and use HP Support Assistant to download the necessary drivers to update the old ones.
HP Support Assistant is a software program designed to help you keep your computer in working order, prevent potential problems from arising, and resolve problems quickly and easily. The program also provides valuable system information that you need when troubleshooting computer problems. Please go to http://hp.care/2kGX8qV to install the HP SA if you do not have it already.
If you have the HP SA installed then go to http://hp.care/2gqoIri and follow the steps under “Checking for HP updates’ to find and install the updates.
Alternatively, you can go to http://hp.care/2kdJTQM to troubleshoot the internet connection problems on your PC.
Please let me know if this resolves the issue, or if you require further assistance.
Cheers 🙂
