z620 Workstation
Microsoft Windows 7 (64-bit)

I have recently restored a Z620 Workstation to factory defaults - Windows Professional 64bit

All drivers have been installed successfully apart from the SAS Controller driver.

I have tried to download the available SAS drivers from the HP website but none of the drivers apply and the driver is still outstanding in the 'Computer Management' window.

I have also tried to install the drivers manually by browsing to the driver files.

Driver hardware ID is as follows:

 PCI\VEN_8086&DEV_1D6B&SUBSYS_158A103C&REV_05

Hi:

You need this driver...

This package contains the Intel Rapid Storage Technology Enterprise (RSTe) Drivers and Graphical User Interface (GUI) for serial ATA (SATA) RAID controllers in supported workstation models that are running a supported Microsoft Windows Operating System.

ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71501-72000/sp71561.exe

The hardware ID you posted is listed in the 64 bit RSTe F6 drivers folder>SCU>iaStorS

[INTEL.NTamd64.6.1]
;Windows_7_x64 and later
