After installing Windows updates on a brand new computer, it will no longer boot.  The monitor is blank, the power lights are on but it does not sound as though the disk engaged.  Have checked connections and all appear OK.  Suggestions?

It's time to exercise the warranty that comes with a brand-new computer.

Contact HP.

They may try to trouble-shoot over the telephone, or they may authorize you to ship the computer to a HP Authorized Repair Depot, for repair or replacement.
