Hi

Thanks Paul Its a superb choice as I google abt the Rradeon 6450, but a cheaper brand would also be batter

I think this card also support 3D Movies if u have appropriate appratus i.e, 3D compatable monitor and 3D glasses along with a bluray player for pc, tell me if its possible

and tell me if I can install the 3D monitor and bluray player in my PC, if yes then suggest some cheap/used brands that I can use with my PC

thanks

You're very welcome, Sheraz:

According to the specs the 6450 supports 3D and blu ray.

See the GPU specs direct from AMD below.

Now, I put the HP blu ray player in my HP 8200 Elite but it was $140.00 new.

If you want a cheap blu-ray player that should work, I would get this model:

It has 3D capablility, and is a burner too.

If you don't live in the USA, see if you can get that model number where you live.

Here is a link to others...

I really don't know what other video cards you could install...A radeon HD 4350 but I don't see 3d support.

Also when you install a video card with HDMI out on a dc7800, the onboard audio gets disabled.

Don't be alarmed.

Go ahead and install the drivers for the video card and when you reboot, go into the BIOS and in the device configuration menu, there will be an onboard audio setting. Change it from Disabled to Enabled.

Save the setting there and again when you exit.

Then when you reboot, you will have the onboard sound back and HDMI audio when you plug a HDMI cable to the TV from the video card.

OH and 1 more thing,

I think i have shader2.0 in my greaphic card, is there any way I can upgrade it to pixel shader 3.0? because some games require shader3.0 which i dont have

HP Recommended

Hi:

I don't think you can do anything like that, because all of that functionality is part of the GPU chip.

Hi - following on from this, can you recommend a HDMI card for a HP DC7800 USDT PC?

It's just for a meeting room so no need for anything special.

Thanks.

Hi:

According to the quickspecs at the link below, you can't add a video card to the USDT.

See page 12 - expandability grid.

Thanks for the speedy reply... question answered.

You're very welcome.

Perhaps you can add an external video adapter.

I don't know anything about them except for the fact that they exist.
