You're very welcome.

Yes, the 7750 is in the $90 - $100 range, but it is a better card than the 6450 is for gaming.

I guess it depends on what you use the card for.

If just to surf the web and stream internet videos, light gaming, then the HD 6450 will be just fine.

How do I upgrade My HP DC7800 SFF PSU and does this video card come with the low profile bracket? http://www.ebay.com/itm/HP-ATI-Radeon-HD6450-PCI-E-x16-512Mb-Video-Card-637996-001-w-Display-Port-/1...

I have the same computer as you and I'm thinking about upgrading to the Radeon HD6450. Was the upgrade worth it? What games can you run now? Any issues with the low PSU?

Check out last few threats and you will be able to decide what card is best for your PC

as for my suggestion I will recommend Radeon HD 7750 low profile version if you are hardcore gamer and Radeon HD 6450 ddr 3 if you are biggner in gaming.

I cant really say any thing about the performence of HD 7750 but its specs say that its higher then HD 6450 which i've used in my DC 7800, I've played Resident Evil 5, Battlefeild 3, Resident Evil operation Raccon city, Prince of persia all version and I am alive on higher settings and all of them worked great with extra 2GB of ram.

does it work fine with 250 watts of power supply, any over heating, hanging problem while gaming for long session?

I just ordered the HD6450 off of Ebay, do I have to do anything with the BIOS? Is there anything I should know before installation?

Good question, you need to enable your on-board audio from BIOS after installation of the card, the card will automatically diaable your audio once you install it on board. I dont know whathappen technically but that's the solution.

Hi guys im back. After months of decision making ang budgeting, i decided to go and buy Radeon HD 6450.
Now that i got it im gonna install this one see if it will work.
Gonna give updates later on xD

By the way HD 7750 is just way too expensive for me, besides i wont be really doing much of a hardcore gaming.

Ill try to change the BIOS setting for audio before installing the GFX card.

Hi:

There won't be a BIOS audio setting available to change until after you install the video card.

Thanks to your quick response and Im back. Read Your reply after restarting the PC. Thanks for the advice. The system works fine and pushed my Windows exprience thingy up a notch. Performs really well.

Though the fan in overdrive of the catalyst doesnt show any RPMs at all. But i guess that is another story.

So far so good on this Graphics card. Thanks to you Paul and xhera!!! I would probably put few more feedbacks if I noticed something else in the next few weeks maybe. Cheers!
