You're very welcome.

Enjoy your revitalized PC with the HD6450 video card.

Best Regards,

a couple of questions.....is the  Ati radeon hd 2400 compatible with the dc7800 sff? And how do i install it with drivers off the internet?

Cheers

It will fit perfectly in ur DC 7800 Small form factor since its a low profile card, as long as drivers are concerned you can always google it, but your operating system should run them without drivers i.e plug and play.

when i put the card in and turn the computer on the screen stays black

try to disable on board VGA first then plug and install

Did you first uninstall the video adapter and driver in the device manager before installing the HD2400?

If not, that could be the problem.

Remove the HD 2400, boot up the PC and go to the device manager, click to expand the display adapters section, right click on the display adapter listed, select uninstall and if there is an uninstall driver box to check, check it.

Do not reboot the PC as prompted, shut it down, unplug it and install the HD2400.

If that doesn't work, then my guess is the HD 2400 you have is bad, because that card should work fine on a dc7800.  It was offered as an optional card back then.

thanks, i'll try that.

still got the same problem 😞

and when i disabled the video adapter the screen went black and said out of range, any more ideas?

I would say the card is defective.  Try a different PCIe x16 video card.
