My DVD player will no play vedio DVD but will play adio CD's, I tried to update the DVD driver but it tells me that the latest driver in already installed. I thought of uninstalling and reinstalling may help but I wanted the link to the actual driver to reinstall. Hardware is- hp DVD-RAM GH80N driver and my system is HP Pavilion HPE h8-1214 Desktop PC running Windows 10

Hi @monecero

Welcome to the HP Support Forums! It is a great place to find the help you need, from other users, HP experts and other support personnel. I understand that you are looking for a specific driver for your DVD drive after upgrading to Windows 10. I am happy to help with this.

Looking at your model there are no specific drivers for Windows 10 at all. You could try checking in Device Manager and removing the entry for the DVD drive, and then scan for hardware changes.  See  if that makes any difference.

Also please review this document: HP PCs - Drive Cannot Read Discs (Windows 10, 😎

Please let me know whether that works for you, and if it does resolve your issue, please mark this post as a solution. Kudos would also be appreciated.
