Windows 7 is 100% compatible with windows vista drivers and software meaning you can use the same drivers as you use in Vista and it will works for sure. I've done it myself.
Try this link: ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp37501-38000/sp37761.exe

This doesnt work.
I have got a 2710p with the intergrated module, and still with trying all compability options with the drivers, the message is still "Compatibility issue between
HP hs2300 HSDPA Broadband Wireless Module and Windows"
so if anyone has any good sollution i would be happy.
I manage to install the driver if i use the old files from the old windows innatallation, but then the HP connection manager won't run, and if i reinnstall the program, it will uninnstall the driver..
sort of a catch 22 situation..

As the links from previous solution already expired, and maybe someone still will need some help with it (like me right now) - you can also try to search and download sp41206.exe from HP. That's the WWAN driver from WinVista, but on my PC works well also with Win7. For example here:
