I have installed the last version of BIOS (A0.47, SP78869) provided by HP Support Assistant. But after that update I have a problem - 2-5 times per day the picture on my monitor screen disappears for a few seconds, sometimes the picture also has small deformations. Some previous BIOS versions contain a warning: after this BIOS update has been installed, previous BIOS versions cannot be reinstalled. What shall I do further to fix this problem?

Hi! @sandy-man, Thanks for stopping by HP forums!

I understand that after updating BIOS on your PC the images disappears for few seconds.

Don't worry I will try to help you out.

Did you make any software or hardware changes on your PC?

I have checked the records and the latest version of BIOS available for your PC in HP.com is A0.38.

I would suggest you downgrade the BIOS on your PC and check if it helps.

Please find the link to download A0.38 BIOS.

Also, Please refer this article to know how to restore BIOS.

Hope to hear from you soon!

Cheers! 🙂
