Okay, so the driver you should be downloading and installing is sp71827.exe, which designed for Win10x64.  Can you download and install this device driver and let us know what happens.  I would suggest restarting your computer before attempting to install the driver.

Yeah it says it downloaded but the new driver does not come up under network adapters. I have even tried uninstalling old driver and then downloading new one. I am not sure what could be preventing it from installing. I have upgraded to Windows 10 since buying this computer last year.

Anything you could suggest that would help install this on my computer or what is preventing it from installing?  Thanks.

This morning I was able to download a new Windows 10 driver for my Realtek network card, on my Pavillion 500 -321 Desktop. The driver page said it had been posted July 20, 2016.

C:\SWSETUP\SP71827 <-- this is where the driver downloaded to.

However, I can not get it to install. I've tried uninstalling the old driver and manually reinstalling the new one, but it doesn't seem to work.

I went back to the drivers page and this is what I see now:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

Realtek Network Controller Driver

Email 64-bit details

7.067.1226.2012 Rev. A 0.8 MB Nov 20, 2015

-------------------------------------------------------------------------

This is what is my PC is currently using:

Driver version: 10.3.723.2015
C:WINDOWS\System32\DRIVERS\rt640x64.sys
C:WINDOWS\System32\RtNicProp64.dll

Any idea why the driver won't install or why I can't find it on your drivers page anymore? Was it pulled because of the issue I encountered?
