Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I am using the headset that came with my pc. headset worked fine for 3 weeks and now only audio will work. I have gotten a new headset and still doesnt work. I have uninstalled and reinstalled every driver i can think of.  I have tried every troubleshooting I come across. What to do now?

Follow these steps to fix the issue.

Use the Windows troubleshooting tool

The troubleshooting tool can fix common problems with audio playback. Follow these steps to use the Troubleshooting tool:

  1. From the Start screen, type troubleshooting to open the Search charm, then select Troubleshooting from the search results.

  2. Under Hardware and Sound, click Troubleshoot audio playback.

  3. The Playing Audio window opens. Click Next.

  4. A new window opens. Select the device you want to troubleshoot. Then click Next and follow the on-screen instructions.

If a recommended action displays, select Apply this fix or Skip this step to continue to search for other problems.
