Got it through Amazon, looks like the born on date was 20/05/19 so I'm assuming this is a "May" baby. Too old?

Yeah that's one of the questionable ones, sadly. The HP Support team can get you a ticket created to get it replaced.

IMaxx,

It seems I'm either inept, or something is not quite right. I cannot seem to get in touch with support through the page when referencing the HMD and it's serial number. Is there a direct number to dial or link to create a ticket?

Support is a nightmare to get through to because the HP website doesn't recognise the Reverb as a product so it won't give you a number to ring. I rang the sales number in the end and got them to transfer me through to support who then transferred me through to Reverb support.

Hello from France,

Unfortunately, I’ve got crashes problem as well  when I’m using Steam VR with PC2 and Assetto Corsa.
I can play for a while with PC2 without any problems but most of time, if I’m going into some menu to do some changes, the game crash. Mouse arrow incons just stay frozen and there’s nothing more I can do. It’s very frustrating. With Assetto Corsa problems are bit different but still. Sometimes I’ve got to unplugged and plugged it again to make it works again. Got no images. Just some crazy stuff in the headset.

I can’t find any information anywhere about that. In France, the support from HP team doesn’t know anything about this product. I’ve got the second version of the headset. Bought it in October.

At that that point, don’t know if it’s my VR headset, if it’s Steam VR, Project Cars 2 or my PC.
Really hope you could help as maybe you heard about a similar problem.

My configuration :
CeForce 2080 TI
Intel Core I9-9900k CPU @ 3,6GHz
32 GB RAM
Windows 10 64 Bits 1903
HP Reverb WMR.

Best Regards.

@CYR95,

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Community's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.

I was also having this problem and tracked it down to the connector clip coming loose. Even the slightest movement began to disconnect the headset and crash whatever program I was using.

I used this fix: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lAiuB1d0ZVE

Have not disconnected since making this adjustment.

Hope this helps you!
