I have HP 25X monitor but I still can't get G-SYNC to work. Tried all remedies listed in community

HP 25X- Need to know if my monitor is faulty as I do not have the same options as in the remedie for my issue.  G-SYNC enabled monitor but can't get it to show up on control panel.  Latest Nvidia software downloaded as well.Gaming but NO FreeSync optionSwitched ONSet to Level 5

this doesn't have free sync.

I have the same model X 25 F, , to make G-sync to work you need DP cable, what i know G sync only work with DP. Then Goes into the Nvidia setting then choose Nvidia control panel, which located in task bar menu on the right. then find resolution menu....
