HP Omen Accelerator, GA1-10 Accelerator
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, I need help with my Omen Accelerator!

I have recently bought an Omen Accelerator and set it up with a GTX 1070. I've followed the setup guide and connected the Accelerator to the thunderbolt in my MSI P65. The laptop finds the accelerator via thunderbolts own software and I can run another screen thru the 1070 without any problems. Nvidia software don’t seem to limit in any way.

My problems however are that I can only use the usb-connections on the accelerator for my mouse and keyboard when the GPU isn't pushed or under load, the OMEN app can't find the accelerator and the laptop is not charging even when I'm not doing anything.

Furthermore, I can't update the accelerators firmware, but I believe that's because the app can't find the device.

I really want this eGPU to work fully, I can settle for using a charger, but I would like to connect my keyboard and mouse to the eGPU and I also want to use a hard drive in the accelerator in the future.

Best Regards,
Anton

I understand that I've explained my problem poorly. I've been thru the checklist a couple of times and tried to reinstall the drivers and so on. But it didn't help, at least not the way I did it.

The app still gives med two error message: Realtek Lightweight Filter driver is not installed or failed to load.

and: Omen Accelerator couldn't be found.

As you can see below, the graphic card works fine after a couple of tries and Intel’s thunderbolt software finds the Omen Accelerator.

My problem is: that the app doesn't work and that I can't use the usb-ports on the Omen Accelerator without extreme lag.

Maybe there is something obvious that I missed.
