Followed the steps, tried downloading the update, and received same "Fireware download failed" message.

I have also installed all Windows updates under both accounts.

@Deeoreeo

I understand your concerns.

We do not have the option to take the remote control and check.

I would suggets you contact our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

2)Select the product type.

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.

We are experiencing longer than expected wait times to reach an agent due to the CoViD-19 impact and there might have been issues in you getting the expected resolution on the issue.

Have a nice day!!

I am also running into the issue after following the installation steps listed above, including the Windows Updates. No luck.

I have the exact same problem.  I chatted with several HP technicians, some of which sent me several service pack links to download and install, yet none solved the issue.  One eventually told me to try it with another headset; I assume she was implying for me to return the product.

Does HP acknowledge this problem with downloading the new firmware? Is a fix being worked on?

In latest varson of Omen Command Center (10.3.4.0) is firmawere update romeoved (or its in another place and I can't find it). I still have problem with white noise in my headset (I hoped it will be fixed with firmware update). I have open several support tickets but HP support stoped responding...

Oh man--that is shady.

I have returned my headset because of the lack of resolution--and now it seems like a wise choice.

My problem has now been resolved. The update disappeared several weeks ago with the white noise still audible but a few days ago, the same update popped back up again. This time it successfully updated first try and the white noise is now completely gone. Albeit late, it's better than never

Hello, I was able update my firmware too. White noise is gone, thanks HP.
