OMEN Mindframe Prime
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently received the OMEN Mindframe Prime as a gift and i followed the steps to download the OMEN Command Center. I saw that in updates my headset firmware was 0308 and there was a new update for 0310. Unfortunately i can't update it. Everytime i press update, it fails after a second, prompting me to retry only for it to fail again.

My problem is the same as this post: https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Gaming-Accessories/omen-mindframe-prime-0310-firmware-update-fails/td-...

however the steps suggested did not work for me and i would really like to update it to remove the white noise i hear all the time.

My problem has now been resolved. The update disappeared several weeks ago with the white noise still audible but a few days ago, the same update popped back up again. This time it successfully updated first try and the white noise is now completely gone. Albeit late, it's better than never

I followed the steps as instructed but when i enter my serial number it comes up as a different product despite the number coming from my product box. The incorrect product is HP S101 Speaker Bar which is evident from the photo attached.
