Omen Mindframe Prime Headset
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My new Omen Mindframer Prime Headser arrived today but I have had no luck with it whatsoever as the mic is not working and it is crashing software.

 

I'm using a new Dell XPS 15 9500 laptop, it is fully updated.

 

Have installed the Omen Gaming Hub, have updated all drivers for the headset. The sound is working ok, but the mic is not. On the Gaming Hub Audio Lab, it is not registering my voice, but sometimes registers my hands touching the headset. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the Gaming Hub. No change.

 

Sometimes, Microsoft Teams, Firefox, and/or the Gaming Hub crashes, but when I remove the headset from the USB port, the software springs back to life.

 

Thoughts?

Oh - also - I tried HP product help - but the serial number is registeres as an out-of-warrenty soundbar! Not useful HP!

3) Enter the serial of your device. 
4) Select the country from the drop-down. 
5) Select the chat or get phone number options based on your preferences. 
6) Fill the web-form and proceed further.

That would be great advice if the serial number didn’t correspond to a different product.

 

Called customer support and sending the item back for a refund.
