Product: HP Reverb G2 Virtual Reality Headset

my reverb has been working for years, but now all of a sudden, the left image will blank, and then both will blank, but then after a few seconds, it comes back up and the process repeat itself

I replaced the cable and checked all the connections, but still no joy
