Disk Drive Upgrading Omen Obelisk 875

Hi, I was looking into upgrading/adding a new disk drive into my computer. From the information I've gathered I understand that I currently have 1 available spot to install one. I haven't ever opened up my desktop to see how all of it is organized in the case, but the wire management is certainly poor (I bought it refurbished from a verified seller on eBay). I've only ever looked at upgrading the HDD in my old ROG laptop, but I never ended up installing one. I hate the WD brand, as I have had far too many data corruptions and problems with them; I was looking into Seagate. I found a listing on Amazon for a "Seagate IronWolf NAS Internal HDD". I'm looking to have an extra 4TB on the drive so I can continue to store files without worrying about running out of space. Does anyone recommend this specific HDD or any others? I am currently not looking to upgrade the SSD, but it is something I will be willing to explore later on.

check if there is one for the sata power supply as well

I don't recommend an HDD that's too big.
in case of failure no more data lost
But consider the use of an external usb disk in addition to an internal hdd of 1 tb or two!

Hi, thanks for your response. My computer is refurbished and was upgraded by a third-party vendor so not all of the parts came from HP. I did end up going with an HDD because I did not want to deal with re-installing windows if I got an SSD instead, as I would be replacing the 256GB SSD if I were to get one. I'm willing to risk a failure with the new drive because I am not going to install anything of importance on it, I just needed more space is all. Because my computer was upgraded I do already have the cables needed already packed inside the case and plugged in; all I need to do is plug, screw in, and play. I have already gone through the use of external hubs but I can't keep track of them and they are more unreliable than internal storage.

Yeah I was trying to find a different one but for some reason I wasn't seeing all of the available options on Amazon through my computer. On my phone, however, I found a Seagate Barracuda and went with that instead. I got more storage for the value too. Thanks for your reply!
