I am determine to get every penny for the 4 Omen Laptops I have purchased if I don't get an action plan from HP by EoM. I think this would require a group effort, so any one on this post that has suffered the same issue and has been given no resolution, please stay tunned and let me know if you'll like to join the effort.

Yesterday they called me that the repair is delayed even more until April 28 due to lack of stock. I told the guy who called me from support that I prefer the money back and I can't wait that long. He told me to escalate the case. This is a disgrace on HP's part. Of course you can count on me to report them. If any HP worker or manager is reading this, it is better that you give us a solution now.

He came to tell me that he can no longer offer me more vouchers with money for the store, but he can offer to extend the guarantee to 3 months for something broken. What I want is a computer that works and doesn't crash from the moment it leaves the factory. I'm waiting for someone to call me or solve the problem. I say it again, if any HP worker or manager is reading this, you better take action on the matter.

GPU Artifacts can be from overheating, GPU going bad, driver, overclocking and possibly bad PSU Outputs.
Download and run OCCT -CPU and GPU and GPU vMEM to check and see if your laptop is overheating or if artifacts starts showing up during the tests.
Keep an eye open to CPU, GPU, Motherboard Temperatures and Fan speeds.
Try running your HP laptop's Diagnostic software and see if everything comes back normal.
Otherwise since it is a new laptop I suggest you open a Warranty ticket with the HP Support to have them check it out for you. You might do something to void the Warranty on the laptop.
NOTE: If the video artifacts occurs during POST, while BIOS is booting up, then it could be a defective APU or GPU card in your laptop.
More info about your laptop can be found here:

I can confirm that after replacing the motherboard on my laptop the problem is GONE. But if it happend due to the bad design and over heating. I think it will come back again. Only time will tell. But for sure for the time being it is totally gone.

That's the problem, we don't know the revision. So, maybe, they know the issues with this model but you'll never prove that. At least we all know that is the motherboard issue. And the only option here is to send it back to HP. How many days did it take to replace the motherboard?

I wrote about the same problem, but I think it's not in the hardware part, since the crash is only played in certain applications

Hello, finally today I received the laptop from the technical service with the motherboard changed, and in less than 1 hour the problem of artifacts continues. So the next step is to request the return in the store 😞 😞
