My model is an Omen 5010nr, it was here:

If you goto the support link at the top of this page and click download drivers,  you can enter the model number of the unit you have mine was 15-5020ca.  You should be able to get the drivers from there.  It was the system event driver that fixed the issue for me.  Install it.  Reboot and you should be fixed as well!

I can confirm that System Event Utility fixed the issue with Omen Control. Downloaded an updated version of Support Assistant Software while I was at it.

 

Oddly enough Support Assistant didn't catch any outdated programs/drivers. Everything had be found and implemented manually.

 

I also noticed that you can't download the most recent version of Omen Control anywhere. Does anyone have a link for that?

Yeah, few days was actually... few days, the new Event System Utility can be Downloaded.

 

Now We can wait to see the Moon branch office ;-)

From the update menu I picked the edit OS link and used the 8.1 version until they update
