HP Reverb G2 Virtual Reality Headset
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

Today suddenly my G2 stopped working. It crashed with a blue screen and since then I am having this error attached.

I have tried restarting, removing the driver and installing it again, changing USB ports but nothing solved it...

For some reason HP does not easily allow creating a support ticket so in the meantime I'm trying here.

I have a first-gen G2. Is it the cable? It was working fine until now...

Thanks.

@ilan147,

The issue you brought up has been discussed many times over in this user-to/for-user Forum.

Here's one of these discussion threads with various "try-this" discussions: Solved: Reverb G2 briefly worked and now gives Error code 4-1 in Mix... - HP Support Community - 790....

Hope this helps.

Kind Regards,

Yes, it seems that the cable is the issue and hopefully not something else that I won't be able to fix or analyze. I hope I can get it easily replaced and for free or at least not expensively.

Did anyone have a G2 with an expired warranty that replaced their cable with HP support and can share their experience?
