Hi! I am just wondering what you should think about when adding ram to a computer that comes with a single channel ram from factory. It is one empty slot left. The motherboard supports maximum 2133mhz but the cheapest i can find on the swedish websites are 2400mhz, whats up with that will it not work or will the computer just slow it down?

And what CL value does the ram have? CL 12,15,16, 17,19? If you do know the information, please answer down below.

Hi:

Below is the link to the crucial memory report for your PC.

They guarantee compatibility.  You can review the specs.

Your PC has a Skylake processor, so the fastest the memory will run with that processor is 2133 MHz.

2400 MHz memory will automatically downclock to 2133 MHz.

But does the CL value even matter?

Hi! Do you think that Corsairs 1x8GB Value Select DDR4 2400mhz CL16 would work? Would be honored if anyone answered
