OMEN by HP 870-270no
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I recently decided to upgrade my processor for a prebuilt Omen PC as it is quite weak. I decided on i5-8600k as it has the same socket type. So I checked my PC's  page https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/c05834065

and under the Processor upgrade information tab found that the Motherboard supports three processors. Does this mean that the Motherboard ONLY supports those three processors or are they there only as an example? And also, as 8600k has a TDP of 95W, does that mean the motherboard is too weak? As it only says up to 65W.

Hi:

You can only install one of the 3 processors listed on the specs page.

So the best processor you can install is the i7-7700.
