Microsoft Windows 11

Hey everyone, I bought my Omen 30L (GT13-0024 to be exact) back in late 2020, which comes equipped with a 6GB RTX 2060. I’m starting to have some trouble running newer games such as BO6 at frame rates more than 110 on resolutions lower than 1080p, and I have a 1440p 240hz monitor. Any suggestions on which GPU I should upgrade to that will fit in the 30L case?

Greetings @Rjemm29

Welcome to the HP Forum.

Check this YouTube video which lists maximum graphics card dimensions that will work with a 25L/30L case.

The above video link also shows how to upgrade the HP provided ATX PSU used in the 25L case. You may need to do this.

This YouTube video has compatible GPU upgrades for a HP Txxx case. All of the GPUs will work in the 25L case. Look in the "more" section below the video for a GPU upgrade list and purchase links.

The 25L could probably do a dual fan, dual slot 4070 Super, 4070 Ti, or 4070 Ti Super. Some dual fan, dual slot AMD 7700 XT cards should also work in the case. You would have to check specs (L x W x H) to see what card fits in your case.

Your PC's case can't handle: two and a half slot or triple slot. triple fan GPUs.

But you can upgrade the HP provided PSU to power a beefier GPU.

I think I’m leaning towards the AMD NX 6750XT, which is a dual slot, do you think I’ll need to upgrade my psu as well? It’s 90W more than the 2060.

An AMD reference 6750 XT (dual fan, dual slot) GPU requires a minimum 600 watt PSU having one 6 pin plus one 8 pin power connectors.

You will have to upgrade the HP provided PSU if it does not meet the above requirements.
