Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hey guys I have an answare about my Thimphu motherbord put inside my Hp Omen 870-022nl. Does it supports nvidia RTX? I want to upgrade my gtx 970 with RTX 2060.

Hello @Alessandro92 

 

You should be good to go with an RTX 2060. Just make sure the power supply has the required connectors for your new card (6/8 or 6+2 pin). Since you  have a 970 installed now, you should be good on connectors.

 

Be aware of airflow in that case. It will be hard to find a 2060 blower type card as most are all Open air and circulate hot air back into the case without adequate case ventilation. Just watch your temps, but you will most likely be OK.
