I want to plug in my laptop to a outlet in my car, the outlet is 120 volts and 100 watts, my charger is 150 watts will this damage my laptop?

The safe and reliable method will be using voltage transformers, if you have an appliance rated at 100 watts, you will need to pick a transformer with a maximum power of 150 watts or greater. This voltage converter can be used in 110 volts.
