Compatibility GeForce RTX 4070

Good morning,

I purchased a HP Omen 40L gaming desktop in September 2022.

I would like to know the specifications of the machine and if I can change the video card by inserting a GeForce RTX 4070. Is it compatible? Can I proceed even if the warranty is extended by the seller or will I lose it?

I am sorry that I haven't replied sooner, but for some reason I was not notified when you gave me the model of your computer.  Here are the specifications for your computer.  You will have to determine if the power supply unit has the proper wattage and supplemental power connectors.

Here is a HP Knowledge Base article that will explain what to consider when adding or upgrading a video card.  Once you have read the article you will have a better idea of how to determine if the RTX 4070 will fit into your case.

As long as you don't damage any components when upgrading your computer it won't void the warranty.  HP can tell if damage is normal or caused by extraordinary means.

May I ask, how's your experience with OMEN 40L Desktop GT21-0012nl PC - because I'm suppose to purchase it. The purpose of mine purchasing is i am handling lot of work at a time in terms of managing different kitchen remodeling project, at a time. looking forward hearing you soon. Thank you so much.
