Ok, I a few months ago a had posted a question about compatible ram for my system and got some great help and ordered some new ram. The ram that I ordered is Corsair Vengeance Pro DDR4 2x16gb  3200MHz. My first problem is that I got trigger happy and bought it while it was on sale without realizing the speed 3200MHz and now the ram is only running at 1066MHz and I am unable to figure out how to bump that up to the max speed 2666MHz. Is there any way to fix this situation I put my self in? I also would not mind upgrading my motherboard if I have to because I am planning to upgrade to an RTX 3080 so any suggestions would be welcome if I decide to go that route I would prefer to keep the same case if at all possible but any suggestions are welcome as I'm still very new to this and if it some to getting a new board and case to fit said new board my budget would be $300-$400 US.

I understand that you are facing compatibility issues.

 

I understand your concerns. There is no way to do the ram speed to 2666MHz.  You have brought the wrong ram.

 

Upgrading the motherboard will be very costly and will void any warranty which you might have.

 

In that case, I would suggets you contact our phone support and check for the support option. They will help you.

 

Or you can contact a local service center for repair.

 

Here is how you can get in touch with phone support.

 

 

1)Click on this link - www.hp.com/contacthp/

 

2)Select the product type.

 

3)Enter the serial number of your device or select let HP detect your product option.

 

4)Select the country from the drop-down.

 

5)You should see the HP phone support number or Chat option listed.
