Thank you for the additional information, @Kumainy!

The one thing that I am not certain about is if the HP 500W PSU has a 1x8-pin power connector.  The 6600 requires one to run properly.  You can contact HP Customer Support to see what they can tell you.  If this connector is available the 6600 should work with your motherboard.

Here is an article that will help you with understanding PSU's will work with newer video cards.

@Kumainy , welcome to the Community.

The RX 6600 requires a power supply unit (PSU) with a minimum of 450W.  Select the section below the picture of the video card titled "Specifications".  This will take you to the full specifications.  The PSU in your computer is only 180W.  This is not nearly enough to power the RX 6600 or other newer video cards.

The motherboard in your computer is HP proprietary. It has a 4-pin power connector instead of a standard 24-pin ATX power connector. You will have to buy any PSU upgrade from HP.  HP sells a PSU with 500W (L05757-800).  This is the most powerful they sell.  It would be just over the minimum required.  Here is a PSU wattage calculator.  It will help you determine if the 500W PSU will be enough for your system with the new card installed.

Here is a HP Knowledge Base article that will explain what to consider when adding or upgrading a video card.  Once you have read the article you will have a better idea of which cards will be compatible and how to measure the space where they will be installed.

Hello! Thanks for the feedback and help you provided and I'm planning to get a 500W PSU to upgrade from my 180W. I'm considering getting a RTX 3050 to go with my new PSU but I'm still unsure if a RX 6600 could work. If you could get back to this and give me suggestions, It'd be very appreciated! Thank you and have a wonderful day!
