Hello I was wondering if it is possible to change the motherboard on a GT15-2194 Intel i7-14700f to a Ryzen one. I am concerned about upgrades later on and I know Intel changes their sockets more frequently than AMD. Plus possible concerns about Intel's current stability. If I can change it to an AMD motherboard, where can I buy one?

Welcome to our HP Community forum!
So, you want to 'future-proof' your HP Omen 25L GT15-2194 as fitted with the ArcticL motherboard (SSID: 8B1D), with an AMD Ryzen-based motherboard?
Your ArcticL motherboard has p/n: N27486-603, it is a Micro ATX board, channel board exchangeable, and has these dimensions: 24.0 x 24.0 cm (9.45 x 9.45 in).
One of the newest AMD Ryzen-based HP motherboards would be the Wolant motherboard (SSID: 8CF4), with p/n: N87311-601, which is also a Micro ATX board, channel board exchangeable, and has identical dimensions: 24.0 x 24.0 cm (9.45 x 9.45 in), and it looks to me that this motherboard would likely be a fit in your case:
The Wolant motherboard supports these high-end Ryzen processors:
In a perfect world, this would be the HP motherboard I would recommend.
The problem is that this motherboard appears not to be offered for sale (yet) by HP, and I couldn't find any alternative purchase sources either.
Be aware that the motherboard screw alignments and I/O shield layout do not match perfectly. That would be the case (pun intended) with any gaming motherboard swap, including non-HP gaming motherboards, such as made by ASUS, MSI, or Gigabyte. Also, HP often uses proprietary connectors for the front panel (power button, USB ports, etc.). Ensure that whatever replacement motherboard you get supports or is adaptable to these connectors.
Anyway, I digressed.
Plan B: let's take a look at the HP Hana motherboard (SSID: 8876), with p/n: M47174-601, as illustrated above.
Same dimensions, very similar in a number of ways compared with the ArcticL motherboard, and supports these fine Ryzen processors:
I even located a rather affordable purchase option under $70 -with I/O shield for you via a top-rated trusted eBay Seller who allows for a 30-day return: https://www.ebay.com/itm/304791038347?_skw=Hp+M47174-601&epid=6056651492&itmmeta=01JETJ5TXE67FBC0YJB....
I am not saying you should go for this: do your homework, ponderize it, and consider the costs associated with making an Intel to AMD mobo swap.
Kind Regards,
