HP 27q AMD Freesync not working

I have bought HP 27q monitor that should have AMD freesync function (according to the site I have bought it on) but I am not able to enable it. Using RX580 8GB graphic card and DisplayPort cable.

Can anyone help me?

I fear you may have been taken for a ride - cannot see Freesync explicitly mentioned anywhere here:

Give HP a call and clarify - if Freesync is not available, you should be able to return it to the store for a full refund.

There are different versions of the HP 27q.

This could be why the confusion. What website did you see the info?

HP Value 27q      3FV90AA    No Freesync

HP Pavilion 27q  1HR73AA   Yes Freesync

HP Pavilion 27q  1HR74AA   Yes Freesync

Ya I absolutely saw the post.  Carefully read my response.

It doesnt have Freesync. Some get the Value and Pavilion models mixed up. Thus I asked what website he found the info on as he mentioned that's what the website claimed.

If incorrect information is provided on the 3rd Party website (it does happen, even on Amazon) then it should be an undisputable foundation to arrange the return for a full refund.

HI,

I have double checked the links you have sent me and it is as you (and others below) said. A have the version that do not have the FreeSync function although the site claims that the monitor have it.

I will try to get the refund and warn them that that have wrong info on the site.
