Hello @RossHWD, These are the only available settings within HPSA, as of the most current version
Even with disabling the device health, HP Hardware Diagnostics for Windows continues to scan the disks very VERY regularly... Even when I disable/prohibit the app from running in the background. I have even disabled some HP Hardware Diagnostic services, and some HPSA System Info services, and it still continues.

I'm not sure where you would find it in HPSA, but that is where you have to disable the checks. It sounds like to me that you have opted into run regular health checks and this is done through HPSA. Have you gone to the My Services tab within HPSA to see which services you have? I would check this, and see how often it is scheduled to run.

I'm sorry, but nothing exists there either. I have completely dug through the entire application, and there isn't anything you've described there within it.
There also isn't any settings in the "Storage" section. The gear/cog icon in the bottom left doesn't show anything but the screenshot I send in the last post I made.

Hi GSynergy,
This is a proactive health check that is being run on your system that is managed through the HPSA app. There will be no harm to your drives. The service will have to be turned off through the HPSA app. Sorry I can't help any more than this.

Unfortunately the setting you describe, doesn't exist.
This is my solution: Uninstall HP Hardware Diagnostics for Windows, and disable all HPSA's services (SysInfoCap, NetworkCap, HpTouchpointAnalyticsService, ect)... This has fixed it, and now the performance has GREATLY increased. Due to the Drive Self Test(s) running, it creates heat for the NVMe M.2 SSD, which puts more wear on it, plus its writing about 28GB of unnecessary data to the drive then deleting it, thus further wearing it out. I feel this most likely is just a ploy for HP to help wear out computers to ensure they will not live too far past 5 years or so due to "wear and tear" (marketing strategies that some other brands possibly use. This is the impression that I am under, especially when HPSA adds a task to the Windows Task scheduler to check for warranty data once every 10 minutes after the warranty expires.)
Even upon disabling/deleting the task, it re-adds itself again. However, uninstallation is the only solution it seems.
