Hello, any word or status from HP on when a new BIOS update will be available for AMD Omen 30L models to provide support for XMP bios options?  Intel models received the update months ago.  Ryzen Master is working for now.

Also, why is there no product support/results on HP.com for HP Omen 30L GT13-1380z?  The closest option is GT13-0000a

Hello
sorry, but it's a community run mainly by volunteers, users, not employed by HP here
so we can't answer for them, try:

That said, unless I'm mistaken so far, this only concerns certain motherboards of a few models.

this is actually quite boring, imagine that we are looking for several models sometimes here
and for many models, it's a disaster, maybe you have to wait until everything is up to date in the databases
sometimes using the product number can help, unfortunately not every time
your computer is very recent, you have to wait a bit I think

Your link was specific to the Intel chipset.  The BIOS update (F20) for Intel based 25L and 30L systems came out in July or September I believe.  It's my understanding they're still working on an update for AMD Ryzen boards.  This question was more in line with RAM upgrade using after market memory than overclocking said memory.

At this time the only way to do it for Ryzen systems is to use Ryzen Master within Windows. Without that your ram is severely underclocked.

Yes I know..
here is the OC model, of the motherboard, this is what I wanted to make you understand

I have this exact model and finally received it. The BIOS does have the Advanced option after putting in aftermarket RAM, but the XMP profile is not reading the correct timings. We really need a BIOS update to fix this. This model isn’t even on HP’s support page, AND when you search with your serial number it says not recognized 😡

Could you please provide a breakdown of how you got the unsupported RAM working? I have Ryzen Master installed. The machine won't boot into Windows with my 2x16 GB Corsair Vengeance RAM, though. Do I insert it and then go into the BIOS, or make changes in Ryzen Master with the stock RAM, then swap the sticks out?

And do you have a recommendation for the settings? My new RAM is clocked at 3200.
