I want to upgrade my PSU to Corsair SF600. I have a Lincs MB with 4+4 pins (no 20/24 pins exist on the MB). Is the Corsair SF600 compatible with the Lincs MB? I already know the size of the new PSU will fit in the Chassis; however, I an uncertain of the pins being compatible with the Lincs Motherboard.

Hello @dpezz
The Lincs motherboard uses a Proprietary HP power supply that uses two four pin connectors, one for the cpu and one for the mains. Its a different wattage for the four pin main as I understand and is not available on standard pin PSUs that use the standard 24 pin main.
So I'm going to say no, even though the small form factor will fit the case.

Thanks for the quick reply. Even though the SF600 comes with the ATX 12V 4+4 pin connector? Or is it that I have to have the 20/24 pin connector for the PSU to work with the MB, and the 4+4 provides additional power to the MB?
