My laptop is blinking, and the screen is off, as is the power button indicator, but the device remains on. Many people say this is due to the Hall Sensor/IR Sensor not being able to handle the heat.
Is there an official statement from HP regarding this?
There are many cases like this, and they usually replace the motherboard with a new sensor.
Then it's recommended to take it to a service center, but is this likely to happen again in the future?

@bagusaji1999, Welcome to HP Support Community,
Thank you for posting your query; I’m here to help by guiding you through steps to resolve this issue
HP Hardware Diagnostics (UEFI)
Boot into diagnostics (F2 on startup)—run the Video test under component tests to rule out GPU/display hardware faults.
Update BIOS & Drivers
Visit the official HP support page for your Victus model and install the latest BIOS, chipset, and GPU drivers, then reboot.
Windows Power Settings
Disable Fast Startup:
Control Panel → Power Options → Choose what power buttons do → change settings → uncheck Fast Startup → restart.
Configure advanced power settings:
Ensure “lid close action”, sleep, and power button actions are appropriately set (e.g. do nothing or sleep, depending on your use)
Power & GPU Settings for Gaming
Use original HP adapter.
In OMEN Gaming Hub, select Discrete mode (dGPU only).
In NVIDIA Control Panel, set Power Management Mode to Prefer Maximum Performance.
I hope this helps.
Please feel free to reply here if you have any questions or if you need further clarification on any of the steps.
Take care and have a good day.
