Hp Omen 870

I’m sort of panicking right now. I went in my bios and wanted to see how my Intel Integrated Graphics compete with my GTX 1070. I turn on integrated, then change it to my primary gpu, reboot, black screen. I can’t boot into an OS, BIOS, nothing! Maybe my integrated is dead somehow?

But I had a look online and I’ve heard you can reset your cmos battery to factory reset the bios settings. That seems to be my only hope. But where is it? I think I may see it, but its under my gpu. Is there any other simpler solutions than this?

Any help is appreciated 🙂

@Gavin19 , welcome to the Community.

What is the Product Number of the computer? I need this information to review the specifications of it. Please don't furnish the Serial # or other personal information. You can find the Product Number at the bottom of the page when you open HP Support Assistant.

You are welcome, @Gavin19!

Here are the Motherboard Specifications for your computer.  If you look at the section titled "I/O Ports and Jumpers/Jumpers, it shows you how to clear the CMOS.  The CMOS is a chip that stores the settings for the BIOS/UEFI.  The information is most likely not being reported correctly.  Clearing it will restore the original settings.
