High Voltage and Heating issues with Omen Obelisk

Hello so I've had this PC for about a year now. The case on this thing causes some serious overheating. I've had to buy a top fan that I mounted on top of my case and I now leave the glass part of the case off my PC otherwise I will go into some serious overheating issues. With the new fan and my case off, I'm still having some major issues. I lag in almost every game I play and I think it's mostly coming from the High Voltage and not the overheating because without the case fully on and my new top mounted fan my Omen Gaming Hub tells me my temps are perfectly fine and are green... So I can only assume it's my high voltage. I connected a picture of my stats while in a game of Valorant. I know nothing about PC's but have been told by a professional that there's something wrong with my Voltage here. Is there a fix?

What your friend is talking about is Undervolting your CPU to reduce heat at the cost of a very small performance drop.

I cant say whether your CPU is volted to high, but I doubt it. You more likely have a either a service running in the background eating up resources (that you might have installed), poor air flow (due to that case design that's known for it), thermal paste needs redone, poor cooling by the heat sink, etc etc. I would look into those options.

Your average temp according to Core Temp is around 60C with one core much hotter at 67C.  You didn't say what you had been running before that temp got that hot. Were you gaming while these temps occurred or is this at idle before not running anything? YOU NEED TO SPECIFY in better detail!

It might be that your Omen Game Hub now offers you the option to undervolt the CPU. But you must have the newest version of game hub installed, including the Sys Event Util, Omen SDK package, and latest bios.

So looking at your screen shot of the temps and voltages, I really don't see an issue with either one, if that is during gaming, they seem more than fine. You might want to check and see if you need to update GPU drivers (that's your graphics card) and as the expert suggested, for any running on the background malicious processes, I would install Mailwarebytes and run the scan to make sure nothing is consuming resources without you knowing about it.

So upon further investigation, I decided early yesterday to try and do a clean reinstall of Windows because I didn't think there was another solution other than Undervolting my CPU. But I wasn't willing to risk undervolting my CPU until I did everything that I thought would be a solution. My last solution was doing a clean reinstall of Windows and come to find out that was the solution. My temps are better than most with my specific build and there's no way to tell if my PC is having Voltage problems. But that was the only thing my friend and I could come up with. Thank you for letting me know I had to do some updates on my Omen Hub I actually wasn't aware so I will be doing that incase of future problems! Thank you!
