Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I have an RGB keyboard that still lights up when I shut down my computer. Is there any way to disable this? Or is my keyboard the issue?

Welcome to the HP Forum.

 

Many newer PC's have a power off USB charging option on some USB ports.

 

You might be able to disable this in Omen Command software or in the BIOS.

 

Or connect the keyboard to a different USB port which does not have the power off option.

 

Lastly, open Device Manager in Control Panel. Open Universal Serial Bus Controllers.

 

Right-click on each device. Select Properties.

 

Select Power Management. Check Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power.
