How many mhz can my motherboard support?

I want to upgrade my ram since the ram inside my pc is 2666mhz so I was wondering how much the motherboard in my computer supports. I am also wondering how to change the speeds to the advertised speed or if its automatically done. Thanks in advance 🙂

It may not be the right model:

Shire motherboard specifications.

• Four DDR4 UDIMM (288-pin) sockets

• Supports 8 GB and 16 GB DDR4 UDIMMs
• Supports up to 4 GB on 32-bit systems

  note:

  32-bit systems cannot address a full 4.0 GB of memory.

• Supports up to 64 GB (unbuffered) with 16 GB DIMMs on 64-bit computers.

Generally not possible to modify on HP PCs

That should be enough it is just possible to increase the quantity installed

If it has this configuration
I7 9700 16gb rtx2070 256 m2 SSD ..
and it’s slow, there’s a problem somewhere
