Product: HP Pavilion Gaming - 15-dk0096wm

I have not cleaned my pc in almost 4 years. I Thought even though it is super late I would clean it. But the battery will not disconnect from the motherboard. I don't know If I should use metal so I am using plastic but it keeps breaking. I think it could be jammed. Need help.
