Hello and thanks in advance for your reply.
I recently did a clean install of Windows 10 on my new computer. When I first received the PC, Omen control worked perfectly. After the W10 install it cycles the original colors and I cannot open HP Omen Control to change it. When I try, I get an error message that says "The code execution cannot proceed because SynCom.DLL was not found.Reinstalling the program may fix this problem."
I've researched the problem and have already tried the following solutions to no avail:
Uninstall HP Omen control, install System Event Util, install HP Support assistant, update HP support assistant, install Hp Omen Central Operations, delete temp files, restart, reinstall HP Omen Control, restart.
I'm still getting the missing .dll file error.
Any advice on how to proceed would be appreciated. Thanks again!

Hi @bjones1672
To expand on CF4s response, this is the latest driver I saw available, you can try intalling this and see if it still shows like the DLL is missing:
ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp81501-82000/sp81891.exe
Best regards.

Hi @bjones1672
Lets try something else.
First uninstall HP Omen Control.
Second, lets go and download CCleaner and use the Pro Trial Version, we are going to delete all temporary files and unused / corrupted regeistry keys with it:
https://www.ccleaner.com/ccleaner/download
We will do the following, first uncheck everything related to the browsers you use, we don't want to lose any information there:
Now click on Run Cleaner, and hit Continue on the next window. Let the process finish. Depending on the ammount of file on your computer it can take longer.
After it has finished, go to the Registry option on the left side and click on Scan for Issues:
After it finishes scanning click con Fix selected Issues.
Click Yes if you want to make a back up. No if you don't want to make a back up.
Click on Fix All Selected Issues.
When it finishes click on close and repeat this process until no item appears when clickin on Scan for Issues.
After this do the following:
The link is right here for the System Event Utill, try installing this:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp71501-72000/sp71716.exe
Install again HP Omen Control from this link:
http://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp70501-71000/sp70894.exe
Download this DLL and put it in this address
Link: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Q5Lv5lq3Mmy8LpIzKjcld6d9HyK7KMlR/view?usp=sharing
Addres: c:\windows\system32\
Let me know if this fixes your problem.
Best regards.
