If anyone out there sees this though and is having this issue, send the Feedback button report. If enough complain, they will see it and hopefully create an update. They may not respond back, but they see the complaints.

Did you try to reinstall OMEN SDK? Please reinstall it, memory lighting control could be recovery.

Waley, yes I did. Right after I saw Photoray002's response. Actually wanted to try it again, but the link no longer works and I deleted the .exe file I downloaded the first time.

OK, this link is from HP.com support page, software and drivers session, you also can go to HP support website to find your product and go to "software solutions" to find OMEN SDK. hope it is helpful. Thanks. https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp105501-106000/sp105569.exe

Not sure why, but when I click on the link, I get a 'Not Found' message.

@Waley  If you read my post earlier, that is the same link I posted. There is only one way to get into the FTP directory.

It looks like that file has since been removed. Not sure what HP is doing.

@rc_dude  I was able to upload the file to my Google Drive. It might be that HP is going to update the file and thus why its not available in the FTP page.

You can give it a try if you like...

I noticed Google took several minutes before I could download it for testing. be patient if the download appears to hang on you also.

I was experiencing the same issue, tried the other fixes that were stated with no luck. I powered my pc off and removed and reinstalled the ram and now OCC can change the lighting on Hyperx again.

Very Nice.

Thanks for the update.

Wow! It works in my machine now. First, I re-installed the RAM and it was still not working. So I ran the SDK package again (did not work for me few days ago), lo and behold it worked! Many thanks to Photoray002, Farr9412 and everyone else who replied.

Hope it works for the op, Atticus2045.
