Is Ryzen 5 3600X Processor Compatible with HP Pavillion 550-252na

HP Pavillion 550-252na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Firstly, I have already upgraded my graphics card to a Radeon RX550 Series and the power supply to a Corsair CP-9020101-UK CX450M 450 W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply Unit.

The CPU which I want to upgrade to is AMD Ryzen 5 3600X Processor

I am relatively new to building and I was wondering would this be compatible with my current HP Pavillion 550-252na desktop with the already upgraded parts?

Furthermore, how much of a difference to performance would there be from my current CPU which is Intel (R) Core(TM) i5-6400 CPU @ 2.70 GHz?

I mostly play fast-paced fps games such as CSGO and Overwatch so I am looking to get as high fps as possible.

Greetings,

Welcome back to the forum.

I am not a HP employee.

It is not possible to install a AMD CPU in a Intel MB.

You can upgrade to a i7-6700.

Regards
