Hello,
I bought an Oman 30L, 3060ti with the Ryzen 7 processor and 2 sticks of 8gb Hyper X Fury Ram (16gb). I would like to upgrade but I can find any HP Fury X Ram selling. (Amazon is completely out and so are many other suppliers or it is way overpriced.) Can I substitute Kingston Fury X Ram? (I understand Hyper was once a Kingston before HP bought them) If so, Anything I need to be concerned with or need to know?
Thanks
Rob

You are correct, Fury X RAM is either not available or being offered by an intrusion of scalpers.
For general Gaming purposes, 16 GB of RAM is quite sufficient, to be honest. If your 16 GB RAM is paired with a decent GPU, CPU and a (NVMe M.2) SSD, extending your RAM to 32 GB isn't going to make much of an overall performance difference, unless you're doing stuff that is very RAM intensive such as video editing applications.

Check it out yourself, but I suspect that the low-priced $69.99 "G.Skill RipJaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin SDRAM PC4-25600 DDR4 3200 CL16-18-18-38 1.35V Dual Channel Desktop Memory Model F4-3200C16D-16GVKB" RAM kit would be a really good candidate in my opinion if I wanted to upgrade an HP Omen 30L: G.Skill RipJaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) 288-Pin SDRAM PC4-25600 DDR4 3200 CL16-18-18-38 1.35V Dual C....
This RAM received a whopping 4.8 out of 5 stars rating from 3,653 global reviews. Not too shabby.
Now the [DISCLAIMERS]:
First, I assumed that this is your rig (or close to it): OMEN 30L GT13-1194 Desktop PC product specifications | HP® Customer Support
Second, please be forewarned, (mind you, from HP's perspective) any so-called "third party" aka non-HP issued RAM memory MAY not run at the advertised speed.
Third, make sure that this RAM actually physically fits in your rig -you should be OK there, but it needs to be mentioned.
Generally speaking, the very best way to avoid this potential issue is to buy it when you ordered your gaming rig, but that is water under the bridge.
And if you were to buy this RAM, and it doesn't meet your expectations, Amazon is really good in returns/refunding.
There you go -my very best suggestion.

I want to thank you very much. Unfortunately, I did not order this desktop. I bought this as-is from Best Buy. Knowing what I know now, I would have ordered it direct from HP.
I do have a GT13-1194
Again Thanks
