Hi there!

So I'm wondering whether or not my current prebuilt PC is compatible for an upgrade on the GPU side?

I currently have a motherboard: 8906 SMVB Erica3_Erica5 with a GTX 1650 Super installed currently. I'm looking to buy a RTX 4060 potentially. Is this possible at all or what do I need to fix to be able to upgrade?

Serialnumber: 4CE136BFTN.

Already upgraded RAM to have 16GB, now it's GPU's turn if possible.

Thanks in advance.

Hi @Hammy128564684

You need a 550 Watt power supply, if you want to use an RTX 4060.

Thanks for the quick reply!

Is my motherboard also compatible then?

Assuming I'll also buy a new PSU that is. 🙂

HP Recommended

Yes, the board is compatible but the power supply must be of higher power.

Thanks! Would my Motherboard and PC also be compatible for RX 6650 XT, RX 7600 and similar Radeon AMD cards?

Yes I'll get a PSU of 550 or 650W, could that handle a RTX 4060 or even Radeon RX 7600 XT card? Could either of them work? 🙂
