I have had this pc for a little over 3 years now. The past few days, the WiFi on my desktop has been very slow, averaging about 5-10mbps. On my laptop, in the same room, I get about 400mbps. I figured it's my internet card and after doing some research, I learned that the internet card is built in into the motherboard. Is there a replacement motherboard or just a way to get better download speed?

@DJGooseBucket , welcome to the forum.
I suggest that you consider using a USB 3.0 wifi adapeter. Here is a page of them on Newegg: usb: https://www.newegg.com/Wireless-Adapters/SubCategory/ID-31
Also, you could use a PCI Express x1 wifi adapter. There are some of them in the link that I provided. The PCIe x1 slot on your motherboard is PCI Express x1 (Gen 3.0). I have used USB wife adapters for years with great success. If you have questions about either type you can contact the manufacturer's Tech Support for help. Either option will be less expensive than a new motherboard or computer and may give you better speed.
