It is a very old machine which has 1 slot of RAM and supports 4GB max.

 
Standard: 1GB, 2GB, or 4GB DDR3 1333 MHz SDRAM SODIMM one SODIMM slot
Maximum: Supports up to 4GB maximum

 

Which RAM do you use to upgrade ?
