Hi @shreyas_dhadam

Welcome to the HP Forum.

MBs have different USB controllers for different USB ports.

So, if you have lost USB function with a group of USB ports on the same MB controller you may have a MB hardware problem.

Check USB Controllers in Device Manager, Control Panel. Errors would point to a driver problem.

No errors in Device Manager and the USB ports don't work would suggest a hardware problem. The hardware would not be detected in Device Manager if it has failed.

Contact HP Support if your PC is in warranty?

Regards

Hi Shreyas, I think there is problem in your motherboard USB Controller IC. Please get some advise from the person who does provide chip level service or change the motherboard in case doesn't work.

It appears that you've taken the necessary steps by testing different peripherals and updating/reinstalling USB drivers. Since the issue persists, there might be a hardware problem with the USB ports. Consider reaching out to HP's customer support for further assistance or having the laptop inspected by a professional technician. They can provide specific guidance based on the product details and may offer solutions or recommend appropriate actions to resolve the problem.
