HP25X

I had a HP 25X monitor that had the "Gaming-Freeesync" option in the onscreen menu but had to return it because it would black out every once in a while.  When I had it selected, it would say "AMD Freesync on".  I replaced it with 2 new HP 25X monitors and they both don't have that option.  It only says "Gaming".  My video card is a NVIDIA GEForce RTX 2060 Super.  One monitor is connected using HDMI and the other is with a Display Port cable.

You should try DP1.2a or higher Display Port Cables.

With the buttons under the monitor for On Screen Display select Image Control/Response Time/ level 5 (Fastest)

Then exit out of the monitor menu and then enter back into the icon that looks like a magnifying glass using the monitor keys and Enable Freesync.

Then open up the Nvidia control panel and select 1920 x 1080 144

Then look in the Nvidia Control Panel and under Display, Set Up G-sync to enable it.
